Hello and welcome!

I’m Lucy, a wedding hairstylist based in the village of Chilworth on the outskirts of Guildford, Surrey. I travel around the surrounding areas of Surrey, West Sussex, South London and East Hampshire.

I always knew from a young age that I wanted to be a hairstylist as all my Barbies ended up with haircuts and quite often as a result they would have no hair at all! You’ll be relieved to read I am a qualified hairstylist after pursuing my interest in hairdressing.

I trained with Lipstick and Curls to learn how to create the classic vintage hairstyles and since then I have worked with theatre productions, at vintage style events and on photo shoots using these skills.

I’ve been a wedding hairstylist for 10 years, spending most of my weekends helping brides to look even more beautiful for their big day by creating their dream wedding hair.

Your hair is such a big part of your identity, so for me it’s not just about looking beautiful it’s also about how you feel too. I’m quite a perfectionist so therefore I’m always striving to do the best I can. I get so much joy from being a wedding hairstylist, especially making my clients look and feel amazing!

I pride myself on being very professional, a good listener and a calm presence, which is what you need on your wedding morning.
