If you haven’t had chance to view the about page yet, I’m Lucy a bridal hairstylist with over 10 years experience in the wedding industry. Based in Chilworth, Guildford, I create bespoke wedding hair in Surrey, West Sussex, East Hampshire and South London.

When it comes to wedding hair my ethos is that you should feel like the best version of yourself, and your hair should be comfortable to wear all day long. There won’t be any painfully tight hairstyles here! I pride myself on being a good listener to help my brides create their dream wedding hair, while also guiding them to what will be flattering and suit their hair and face shape.
Before securing your date, I will arrange a call with you. This will help us get to know each over and help you decide if I’m going to be the right bridal hairstylist for you. We can discuss all the details of your wedding so you know how it will all work. I can answer any questions or concerns you may have. I will then follow up with your tailored quote.

This is your opportunity to voice your hairstyle ideas. We will discuss your likes, dislikes, your dress, and your hair accessories. If you already have your hair accessories and veil, please bring them with you. It’s also my opportunity to get to know your hair and whether your desired style will be suitable for you but most importantly it’s to find a hairstyle you will love! This appointment shouldn’t be used as a test to see how well the style will last, as I usually like to make tweaks to ensure it is even better on the day.
I recommend doing your wedding hair trial 3-6 months before your wedding, so you should have your dress (I love a sneak peek!) and your hair is not too dissimilar to how it will be on the day.
Appointments are up to 3 hours so make sure you allow plenty of time. They take place at my studio in Chilworth, Guildford or please ask for a quote for a location of your choice (this will cost more). During peak times trials can only take place on weekdays as weekends are busy with weddings!
Should you have any concerns or questions I will be there throughout the process to help and advise you.
Having the right advice for your big day can make all the difference. My guide to prepping your hair for your big day will be uploaded to your client portal, which you can share with your bridal party.
Prior to the day I will coordinate with your make-up artist if you have one booked, to lay out a schedule for your wedding morning. This will help to ensure the morning runs smoothly. It will take longer than you think to style everyone’s hair, so be prepared to start early, especially if you have a large bridal party. For large bridal parties, I can organise a second hairstylist to avoid a super early start. See package terms for more info.
Once everyone’s hair is completed and dressed, I will do final checks and touch ups. I will also fit accessories and place the bride’s veil once she is dressed if she is wearing one. Making sure you all look amazing before I leave.
Bride’s trial at Lucy’s studio £150 | At a location of your choice £175 plus mileage (see booking terms).
Bridal party trial (optional) £90 per person.
On the day
Bride + 2 others (minimum fee) £450 | Bride only bookings see booking terms.
Additional bridal party members £90 per person.
Under 10 years: £45 per child. Children with very long or thick hair will be charged adult prices.
Bride + 2 others on the day £450 (minimum fee). Bride’s hair £270 | 2 others £90 each.

A £100 deposit is required to secure your date, which must be paid within 3 days of accepting your quote.
Second hairstylist fee for large bridal parties will incur an extra fee of £130.
Early starts before 6.30am will incur an extra fee of £50
Split locations for my services will incur a relocation fee of £60.
Travel expenses are extra and charged at 80p per mile from Lucy’s studio in Chilworth, Guildford.
